Is your file ready to be presented to a funder?
Many good agricultural projects fail not for lack of money, but for lack of a file a banker can appraise. The bankability diagnostic tells you, on evidence, where yours stands — and what to correct before you submit it.
What the diagnostic establishes
When credit is scarce, the rate no longer decides whether a loan is granted: the quality of the file does. A credit committee choosing between several applications does not retain the project that looks best on paper; it retains the one whose assumptions hold, whose land is documented and whose repayments follow the real cycle of the activity.
The diagnostic reads your project the way the analyst will. It identifies the missing documents, names the major risks, checks that repayment does not start before the first revenue, and says which decisions are still yours to take. It closes with a written reasoned assessment.
For whom
The manager of a processing unit preparing an extension; the promoter who has a site or land and an investment budget; the entrepreneur whose bank turned the file down without saying why; the diaspora investor who wants to know what holds before paying out; the cooperative that must finance its season.
How it runs
You submit your project: submission is free and without commitment, and you receive a first response within forty-eight working hours. If you decide to go further, you officially open the file; it is that opening that triggers the diagnostic.
We then ask for the documents that already exist: title or land documents, equipment quotations, accounts or statements, contracts or letters of intent from buyers, permits. Nothing is required that does not exist: a missing document is a piece of information, and it appears in the assessment.
The reasoned assessment is handed to you in writing in the working days that follow. It is issued by a reviewer who has no interest in the project going ahead: that is what gives it its value.
What you receive
A written reasoned assessment that says what holds and what does not: the exact list of missing documents, the priority risks, the assumptions to defend, and an ordered action plan. The assessment may be unfavourable. We also hand over assessments that recommend not applying, because an assessment that never concludes negatively is worth nothing.
If you then entrust us with the assignment — a bankable file, a feasibility study, a business plan in the funder’s format — the file-opening fee is credited in full against the quotation. That quotation is firm, in line with our price grid, and is only issued after the file is opened.
What the diagnostic is not
It is not a promise of credit. We deliver a file that can be appraised; the financing decision belongs to the funder, and nobody can honestly guarantee it. We receive no commission from any credit institution: our only interest is that your file holds up.
