The feasibility study, before funds are committed

Should I commit my money, and how much? The feasibility study answers on evidence: a proven market, a sized site and facility, investigated risks, and a reasoned opinion — GO, NO-GO or conditional GO.

What a feasibility study must establish

Partial studies produce partial decisions. A feasibility study worthy of the name consolidates the technical, economic and legal sides into one document, and closes with a viability opinion that can be relied upon by third parties. The project holder decides on evidence, not on intuition: stopping at the design stage costs a study; stopping at the construction stage costs the project.

For whom

The holder of an idea who wants to know whether it deserves a study, the farmer considering an extension or a diversification, the investor — in Cameroon or in the diaspora — who wants to commit capital knowingly, the financier asking for a second opinion before committing.

How we proceed

Demand first, never supply. The market study confirms who buys, at what price and in what volume, on prices collected in the field and dated: an undated market price is not data. Before any study, the actor diagnosis goes and sees the farm or the organisation, on documents and on site.

The resilience diagnosis identifies, rates and ranks each risk of the project and ties it to what can stop the activity: critical dependencies, stopping factors, breaking points. A risk that costs little but can interrupt operations remains blocking. We do not validate a viability without having investigated what can stop the project.

The consolidated feasibility then brings together the market, the site, soil and water, the production facility, the legal framework and the costing in FCFA, and closes with a reasoned opinion.

What you receive

For an idea: a validated concept note and a value proposition established in the field, not deduced — you know whether the project deserves a study, and which one to start with. For an investment decision: a verified market, an offer defined by a specification, a risk map and a GO, NO-GO or conditional GO opinion, in a neutral report you can present to a partner or a bank.

You can start with the free AGROBOUSSOLE diagnosis, which places your project and its exposure, then submit the project: the first reply comes within forty-eight working hours, the quote after the official opening of the file.
