Engineering & Advisory Firm

Agricultural engineering, from diagnosis to the first invoice collected

AGROVITA is the agriculture, livestock and agro-industry branch of the XP-NOVA engineering and advisory firm. Its trade: turning an intention into a bankable, compliant and sellable project — then holding it until it collects.

What an agricultural engineering firm does

An agricultural project almost never dies for want of a good idea. It dies because a step was skipped: the market was not checked, the facility was sized from a catalogue, the financing came too late, or nobody was trained on the day it started. Agricultural engineering is the refusal to skip those steps.

The firm investigates, sizes, costs and controls. It represents the project holder before suppliers, contractors and financiers, and it physically checks each progress point before any disbursement. Its doctrine holds in four words, the PTE-R model: produce for demand, process for value, export for impact, withstand for the long run.

For whom

Family farms and smallholders, cooperatives and groups, processing SMEs and industrial firms, exporters, diaspora investors, institutions and donors: each enters through the door that matches their situation. The site’s reference framework covers the crop, livestock, fisheries and forest value chains of Cameroon and Central Africa.

How we proceed

Each project follows a milestone-gated cycle of four phases and thirteen steps, from the idea to the first sale collected: strategic design and validation, technical and financial engineering, set-up and deployment, marketing. The project holder never buys the whole cycle: they choose the standard path that matches the real stage of their project.

The rule that governs the whole cycle is simple: the project only moves forward when the milestone is reached, and a milestone is only reached when its resilience condition is verified. Demand first, never supply. Prices are collected in the field and dated. Funds are held in escrow under an OHADA agreement and released against verified milestones. Nothing is paid that has not been seen.

What you receive

Depending on the path: a validated concept note, a reasoned viability opinion, a technical specification and an equipment list, an open financial model and a business plan in the financier’s format, an owner’s-assistance agreement with milestones and technical sign-off, teams trained position by position. At each step, a deliverable that can be relied upon, not an opinion.

Submitting a project is free and the first reply comes within forty-eight working hours. The assignment quote is only issued after the official opening of the file, on a scope agreed with you.
