Agricultural files your analysts can appraise

When credit becomes scarce, the rate no longer decides whether a loan is granted: the quality of the file does. XP-NOVA, through its AGROVITA division, prepares agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial projects for bankability — and asks you for no commitment, no remuneration and no exclusivity.

The situation

In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of new loans fell by 28.2% year on year in Cameroon (BEAC, as reported by Investir au Cameroun, 16 June 2026). A committee choosing between several applications does not retain the most attractive project: it retains the one whose assumptions hold and whose security is enforceable. What is most often missing is not the money, but the file able to capture it.

The six-pillar protocol

Each pillar is tied to what it produces, and to what your analyst can check.

1A financial model handed over unlocked

Visible formulas, assumptions isolated and editable, stress scenarios on the variables that actually kill a project. The analyst changes the assumption they dispute and reads the effect on debt service.

2An independent review

The author of the study is never its reviewer. A separate, named reviewer audits the assumptions and issues a reasoned opinion — unfavourable included.

3Land and security

Audit of titles, prevention of occupation disputes, structuring of security under OHADA law, with the notary. A provisional land certificate documents occupation; it is never presented as collateral.

4Disbursement by milestones

An escrow agreement makes the release of funds conditional on technical acceptances. Approval is not issued by whoever built the works.

5A schedule matched to the cycle

Maturities and grace periods follow real biological cycles. Working capital is never financed out of an investment loan.

6Qualified outlets

A dated field market study, at least two qualified distribution channels, purchase commitments sought. The availability of the funding windows cited is rechecked on every assignment.

What your analyst receives
  • An unlocked financial workbook, with its scenario notes and monthly cash plan.
  • A credibility review report, signed by a reviewer distinct from the author.
  • An inventory of guarantees and, where relevant, a draft escrow agreement.
  • A “sources” section: every external figure carries its source and date; what could not be verified is written as such.
Four rules you can check
  • No dual role. The review report carries the name and capacity of the reviewer.
  • Transparent formulas. Open the workbook and change an assumption.
  • Traceable sources. Every deliverable ends with its dated sources.
  • Separate approval of works. The clause is written into the escrow agreement.
What we cannot yet demonstrate. What we present is a method and a reference framework, not an agricultural performance record: the first completed assignments will add to it. Our capacity to handle files in parallel is limited, and is checked at the time of engagement, file by file. The method itself comes from far back: it was proven on infrastructure projects led by our founder. See the engineering references →
What we offer you
1A calibration call

Which documents are most often missing from the files you receive, and how to build them in upstream of our deliverables.

2A specimen file

Unlocked financial model, independent review report, draft escrow agreement: so that your analysts judge on evidence.

3A referral agreement

With no exclusivity and no cross-remuneration; then, if you wish, a pilot on ten files, with a joint mid-term review.

If our files do not save you appraisal time, tell us: that is the information that has value.
