Agri-entrepreneurs & commercial farms

You run a structured commercial farm: you produce for the market, with an investment and yield-driven approach.

Definition in the architecture : Structured commercial farms and investment ventures

Your activities

What you do

  • Plan and manage large-scale cropping under controlled technical itineraries
  • Mechanise field operations: land preparation, sowing, irrigation, harvesting
  • Manage a salaried workforce and farm supervision teams
  • Invest in storage, packing and, where relevant, primary processing
  • Sell directly to processors, distributors and exporters
  • Monitor costs, yields and the compliance of the farm
Your role in the value chain

You are a reference producer in the Produce – Process – Export chain. You receive inputs, machinery, finance, agronomic advice and engineering services from suppliers and consulting firms. You deliver regular, uniform volumes to agro-industries, purchasing centres and exporters, often under contract. You secure the supply of processing units and unlock access to demanding markets thanks to your ability to meet specifications, certifications and delivery schedules.

Where are you found?

Across the whole country, with a concentration in accessible lowland and forest areas: the Littoral and South-West for oil palm, banana and rubber; the Centre, South and East for cocoa and field crops; the Western Highlands for intensive market gardening; the North and Adamawa for cereals and cotton.

Your place in the ecosystem

Why your business matters in Cameroon and Central Africa

Commercial farms bring Cameroon the scale, mechanisation and management discipline needed to supply industry and export markets reliably. They create salaried jobs in rural areas, spread modern agronomic practices and pull neighbouring smallholders along through aggregation or outgrower schemes. They are the natural target of investors, banks and agro-industrial development programmes. On CEMAC regional markets and towards Nigeria, they carry the Cameroonian products able to meet quality and traceability standards. Their growth reduces dependence on food imports and strengthens the country’s productive sovereignty.

Join the XP-NOVA directory

Your listing in three steps

The directory is not a mere listing: each profile is positioned within the architecture (sub-domain, actor, value chain), checked by XP-NOVA, then published. You keep control of your profile after publication.

  2. Verification by XP-NOVA

The XP-NOVA team reviews your profile: consistency of the position in the architecture, reality of the declared activity, completeness of the information. If there is a reservation, the reason is sent to you and you can complete.

  3. Validation and publication
