What you do
- Carry out silviculture, inventories and management planning of forest titles

You stand at the upstream end of the timber value chain. You receive permits, inventories and management plans from the competent services, together with machinery, spare parts and fuel from suppliers. You deliver logs and sawn timber to secondary-processing industries, artisans, traders and exporters. You secure a renewable resource through planned harvesting, and you unlock for downstream actors a legal, traceable raw material, a condition for accessing markets that demand documented origin.
Where are you found?In the forest zone of the South and East, around Bertoua, Ebolowa and the large forest blocks, as well as in the Centre and Littoral. Sawmills and log yards cluster near the road and rail corridors leading to Douala and Kribi, the export ports for logs and sawn timber.
